Role Description The Senior BIM Engineer will lead the development, coordination, and management of architectural BIM models across all project phases, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and compliance with Atrium’s standards. Daily responsibilities include creating and updating detailed 3D models, preparing and reviewing construction drawings, and coordinating architectural BIM with structural and MEP disciplines. The role involves collaborating closely with project managers, site teams, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve design clashes, optimize designs for construction, and support value engineering initiatives. The Senior BIM Engineer will also help develop BIM standards, mentor junior team members, support the implementation of new BIM tools and workflows, and prepare model-based reports and visualizations for project stakeholders.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows, with proven experience leading architectural BIM on complex projects.
Ability to produce, review, and coordinate detailed Construction Drawings from BIM models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications and codes.
Solid background in Architecture with practical experience integrating designs with Civil Engineering requirements and site constraints.
Experience collaborating with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) teams to coordinate multidisciplinary models and resolve clashes.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field; advanced certifications in BIM or digital construction are an advantage.
Proficiency in industry-standard BIM and design software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360 or similar CDE platforms).
Experience in large-scale commercial, hospitality, healthcare, or mixed-use projects, preferably with contractors or design-build organizations.
