We are hiring an ” Electrical Estimation Engineer ” for a leading Sudan-based EPCM contractor, in collaboration with an Australian specialist engineering-services provider, which is expanding its team to support technical engineering projects across Australia.
📍Location: El Nozha – Cairo
Key Responsibilities
• Review RFQs, electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, specifications, and technical scopes.
• Prepare cost estimates covering labour, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other project costs.
• Develop technical-commercial quotations, tender pricing schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Identify scope gaps, assumptions, exclusions, and commercial risks before submission.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, suppliers, and project stakeholders to clarify pricing inputs.
• Support tender submissions, quotation revisions, and variation pricing for live projects.
• Maintain accurate estimation records and support cost benchmarking.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in electrical estimation, tendering, commissioning, construction, or technical services.
• Strong ability to read electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Experience in preparing cost estimates, quotations, and tender submissions.
• HV/LV testing, commissioning, protection relay, or substation experience is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP, job-management, or estimating systems; Simpro experience is an advantage.
• Strong English communication skills and the ability to work effectively against strict tender deadlines.
