Electrical – Senior Tender Engineer
Job Location: 6th of October City, Giza, Egypt
Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Tender Engineer with strong experience in tendering and a solid understanding of the Saudi market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing tender documents, preparing competitive technical and commercial proposals, and coordinating with internal teams and vendors to ensure successful bid submissions.
Key Responsibilities

Analyze tender documents including drawings, specifications, and BOQs.

Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and technical/commercial proposals.

Coordinate with the procurement team to obtain competitive vendor quotations.

Evaluate subcontractor offers and prepare comparison sheets.

Ensure full compliance with RFQs and project specifications.

Collaborate with design and technical teams to optimize project solutions.

Follow up on submitted tenders and respond to client clarifications and queries.
Qualifications & Requirements
General Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred).

6 to 10 years of proven experience in tendering, cost estimation, or related roles.

Strong experience in residential, commercial, and large-scale building projects.

Good knowledge of the Saudi market and its tendering practices.

Proficiency in MS Office and relevant engineering software.

Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Electrical-Specific Requirements

Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting, ELV, and low-voltage systems.

Proven experience in preparing accurate quantity take-offs for electrical works.

Familiarity with electrical codes and international standards.

Proficiency in AutoCAD (Electrical) and related software.
