Production Engineer (Oven & Stoves)
Job Location: Idustrial area – 6th of Oct – Giza
Job Purpose:
To plan, control, and optimize production processes of cookers and stoves to ensure high-quality output, efficient resource utilization, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The Production Engineer will coordinate with design, maintenance, and quality teams to meet production targets and continuously improve manufacturing performance.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise daily production operations in the cookers and stoves assembly lines to ensure smooth workflow.
2. Plan and organize production schedules based on demand forecasts and delivery timelines.
3. Ensure adherence to technical drawings, assembly instructions, and safety procedures.
4. Monitor machine performance, material flow, and workforce productivity to minimize downtime.
5. Collaborate with the R&D and Quality departments to resolve technical issues and implement process improvements.
6. Conduct time and motion studies to enhance production efficiency.
7. Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal quality control procedures.
8. Train and support line operators and technicians on production methods and safety rules.
9. Prepare daily and weekly reports on production performance, scrap rates, and machine utilization.
10. Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule preventive maintenance and reduce unplanned stoppages.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Production Engineering.
• Experience: 3–7 years of experience in a home appliances or sheet metal manufacturing environment, with specific exposure to cookers, ovens, or gas stoves production.
• Technical Knowledge:
o Understanding of gas system assembly, sheet metal fabrication, and enameling processes.
o Familiarity with production line balancing and lean manufacturing principles.
o Experience using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software.
o Basic knowledge of PLC-controlled machinery and industrial automation.
• Soft Skills:
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Leadership and team supervision capabilities.
o Excellent communication and reporting skills.
o Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
