Senior Windows Server Administrator is needed to be hired in an IT & Software technology company in Alexandria
Job Description:
– Administer, maintain and monitor the windows based IT infrastructure with high-available systems
– Ensure compliance with policies, standards, licensing agreements, configuration guidelines, and best practices
– Troubleshoot and root cause analysis
– Customer support at first, second, and third level as well as coordination with other teams and vendors
– Analysis and evaluation of customer requirements as well as independent solution finding
– Creation and maintenance of various technical documentation.
– Participating in Cab and maintaining weekend calls
– Creating RCA for P1 Tickets and outages
Job Qualifications:
– 3 – 5 years of experience
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Communications Engineering or equivalent
– Proven working experience as Windows Server Administrator.
– Sound ITIL knowledge and experience.
– Experience with both physical and virtual servers, file, or MSSQL clusters.
– Experience and understanding of a bigger infra (Active Directory, Network Configurations, Backup and Restore operations, Clusters, Monitoring, and Virtualization)
– Knowledge of common scripting languages and experience in their application.
– Knowledge of cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
– Experience and knowledge of middleware like Tomcat & Apache is a plus
– Understanding & experience with configuration tools like Ansible.
– Knowledge and experience with Microsoft IIS is a plus
– Fluency in English (German is a plus)
