“Senior Linux Admin” is required for reputable software house company located in Alexandria.
Responsibilities:
· Provides second-level support for complex problems related to Linux system software and operating systems; troubleshoots (analyzing reports for production problems) and resolves problems, escalating issues as necessary.
· Installs, configures, deploys, monitors, and maintains system software, operating systems, related subsystems, related executable routines, as well as all backup and recovery procedures, ensuring that the software is maintained at the desired release level.
· Coordinates with operations personnel to maintain a current set of Linux system software documentation.
· Monitors system activities and fine-tunes system parameters to optimize performance to ensure system security.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any relevant field of study
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in Linux-based
· Very good command of English in both written and spoken.
