“Senior IT Network Engineer” is required for International Maritime Transportation company located in Port Said.
Job Description:
• Plan, design, implement, monitor, and maintain wired and wireless networks.
• Install, configure, and support networking and security equipment from a wide range of industry leading vendors including Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and HP
• Participate in the configuration and troubleshooting of firewall configurations/setup.
• Actively participate in the transition of new infrastructure services from development to production
• Create technical network designs for medium to large projects.
• Apply company relevant IT policies and standards and ensure compliance and alignment to our road maps and architecture.
• Develop strong relationships with Service Desk and Applications teams.
• Provide input to IT policies, procedures, and standards.
• Recommend new technologies and process improvements.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT networking, computer science, information systems management
• Fluency in English is a must.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT networking and security
• Must be certified by Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, HP (CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, CCDP, PCCET, PCNSA)
• Must be willing to work extended hours and be on call when needed for projects and problem resolution.
• Deep understanding of Terminal Network & Infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of Workstation/Server hardware environments
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
