Top Business Group is hiring “Payroll accountant”
Work location: Sheraton, Heliopolis
Main duties:
· Gather information on hours worked for each employee
· Entering data into payroll and administrative databases and software programs.
· Calculate the correct amount incorporating salaries, overtime, deductions, bonuses etc. using Excel
· Receive approval from upper management for payments
· Prepare and execute pay orders through an electronic system or distribute paychecks
· Administer statements of payment to personnel either electronically or on paper
· Process taxes and payment of employee benefits
· Transfer salaries to bank accounts after upper management approval
· Prepare reports for upper management, finance department etc.
· Preparing periodic payroll reports for review by management
Requirements:
· BA in business, accounting or relevant field is a plus.
· 1-2 years of Proven experience as payroll specialist handling large headcounts 1000+
· Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
· Very good knowledge of legislation and regulations of the field
· Proficient in MS Office and Advanced Excel
· Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
· Excellent communication skills
