FlyEgypt is looking for an IT manager.
Major contributions and purpose
Responsible for maintaining all system software, hardware, finding IT solutions & airline related systems that suits business needs, deploy & implement safe information security.
Main responsibilities and activities
• Responsible for budget initiation at the beginning of each year and following up on budget execution.
• Responsible for setting manpower plan on yearly bases with HR function.
• Coming up with suitable IT solutions & systems that solves users problems.
• Responsible for solving any problems related to (network devises, mail administration problems, VMware administration, San storage administration, backup systems (Veeam backup, exe backup)
• Responsible for updating and maintaining users data related to exclaimer cloud signature system (automatic mail signature) plus its related bill payments.
• responsible for creating, enhancing, updating, maintaining Microsoft servers that manages users, file servers and SQL.
• Managing & shrinking SQL backup.
• Managing on premises technical library.
• Manages emails administration (assigning emails for new employees, creating groups & teams, setting email rules, mail security).
• Analysing daily IT related problems (software, hardware) and selecting best optimal solution and assigning related tasks to IT team.
• Handling IT software and hardware orientation and training for new users and current employees.
• Managing hardware specs according to business needs.
• Managing internet service providers in terms of (bills payment, problems, new request for leased lines).
• Managing and controlling print server in terms of (Software and hardware).
• Managing all cloud systems in terms of configuration, monitoring and maintenance like teams & help desk.
• Handling with purchasing department choosing best options for maintenance contracts in terms of quality & cost and following up on monthly related payments.
Main requirements
• Bachelor’s degree of computer science or information technology or related field.
• 8 to 10 years of experience, Minimum 2 years in the same post.
• Microsoft Infrastructure and Virtualization Infrastructure (Microsoft and VMware) knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of networks, N+, A+, Security and Firewalls.
• Strong Knowledge of backup systems and CISCO system.
• Fluency in English.
