Multi-Food is seeking to hire a “Import Executive” to join us immediately with these criteria:
Duties:
• Work closely with transportation providers ensuring efficient and effective execution of defined processes. This includes confirming shipment reviewing routing, confirming shipping line, government agencies and port releases, requesting/confirming wire payments, scheduling delivery appointments and dispatching orders.
• As needed, assist in negotiating freight rates with transportation providers, targeting cost reduction, freight savings and service.
• Facilitate the shipping of products from the suppliers to our warehouses.
• Oversees inventory of goods
• Assist to obtain all required import permits and export licenses for all processes.
• Maintains a database that tracks merchandise.
• Perform audit on all import files on regular basis.
• Ensure full conformity of purchases with authorized levels
• Following up with suppliers the flow of the goods (Quantity- Timing).
• Communicate with suppliers in any problem related to shipments
• Annual statistics for all the imported commodities.
• Perform any other tasks related to the job.
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree from reputable university, Logistics or Supply Chain Major.
• Be familiar with ACID.
• 5 to 7 years’ experience in Import Logistics.
• English Proficiency is a must.
• Ability to read, interpret and analyze domestic and international shipping documents, contracts and procedures.
• Experience in FMCG is considered a strong asset.
