Head of Legal
Provide accurate, relevant and timely advice on a variety of legal topics that relate to the business sector and their products or services.
Draft, review and negotiate various commercial contracts and agreements.
Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations including existing and upcoming data privacy laws, consumer protection laws, Data Privacy & Consumer protection, GDPR, CCPA etc….
Advising on business transactions, successful M&A’s, Series A, B & C fund raising, and negotiating finance/facility.
Managing Trademark and copyrights registrations, renewals, terminations, disputes and legal notices.
Liaising with external legal counsels across several markets on legal issues.
Fully involved in managing litigation and working closely with law firms to ensure best results, Managing and representing in litigations, conciliations and legal notices.
Promote legal, compliance and risk management best practice throughout the company.
Support legal due diligence for internal and external legal transactions.
Manage and mitigate legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures. Drafting of internal privacy policies, compliance & corporate policies.
Required Skills and Specifications:
Proven experience as an In-house Legal Counsel in business environment from 5-8 years
Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures
Sound judgement and ability to analyse situations and information
Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships across the business.
Ability to work in a highly autonomous role.
