Junior AR Accountant – Cairo,EG

We’re looking for a ” Junior AR Accountant ” for a leading company specializing in the distribution of Arabic films, dedicated to bringing the best Arabic films to audiences across the GCC and worldwide.
📍Location: Downtown, Egypt.

Job Description:
• Prepare and issue customer invoices in accordance with company policies and customer agreements.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing, payments, and account discrepancies in a professional and timely manner.
• Perform weekly follow-ups with customers regarding overdue payments to ensure timely collection and maintain positive relationships.
• Reconcile bank accounts daily to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Maintain and update the accounts receivable aging report, ensuring outstanding balances are accurately monitored and escalated when necessary.
• Record daily financial transactions and ensure their accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Requirements:
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, AR reporting.
• Experience with financial reporting and analysis.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting principles and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify process improvement opportunities.
