The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer works collaboratively with end users to develop reporting systems that provide accessible information for decision-making
- Experience with at least two BI technology (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, etc..) is a must
- understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
- Excellent background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining
- Excellent command of SQL language using multiple backend database engines such as SQL Server, ORACLE
- interface with clients and gain understanding of requirements/ processes through meetings and discussions; create the Requirement Document using UML/other modeling techniques; obtain customer sign off on requirements.
- Provide systems analysis and design support for new developments and enhancements. Plan for end-to-end testing and evaluate results to ensure accuracy and quality of system changes/developments
- Work with different departments to collect data and do the necessary analysis to help with decision making
- Coordinate with stakeholders for checking of results and outputs, managing issues and risks at testing stage.
