Senior Internal Auditor

Location: 6th of October City – Giza
Job Description:
– Conduct Business risk assessments and assist in the preparation of a structured audit plan to ensure audit coverage of significant activities
– Ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal standards, and core objectives
– Identify instances/ risks that entail probable financial loss or applicable regulatory non-compliances that could result in monetary penalties/ reputation damage
– Review the Company’s operations (both manual and automated) to determine the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems
– Prepare periodic reports to the Head of Department, summarizing the audit work carried out with findings, recommendations, and management responses
– Participate in special investigations and management audits when required
– Conduct regular cash counts and or stock counts
– Assist in drafting an Audit Manual
– Escalate promptly any major issues/ significant concerns emerging from the areas/ functions audited or stemming from other areas
– Develop audit techniques to ensure the continuing improvement in standard of work and continuing relevance to business needs
Requirements:
– A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, Masters is a plus
– Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification is an advantage
– A minimum of 5 years experience working in accounting or auditing
– Strong knowledge of auditing standards, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations
– Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
– Advanced computer skills
