Responsibilities and Key Tasks:
The Training Officer will be responsible for the below tasks:
Participate in conducting training needs assessments.
Develop and maintain training follow-up tools and selection criteria for participants in coordination with subject matter experts.

Assist with the monitoring of progress and impact assessment of capacity building programs.
Develop a monthly report detailing recommendations, challenges and lessons learned encountered.
Assist the ICB Manager in providing input for the Project’s bi-weekly and Quarterly reports.
Serve as focal person (R2-Verifier) for the USAID TRAINET/TEAMS System.
Other duties as assigned by the Institutional Capacity Building (ICB) Manager.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
· 5+ years of relevant experience and progressive responsibility in office administration
· Minimum 2 years’ experience working in event planning or training for USAID funded projects preferred.
· Accuracy in working with large amounts of data
· Ability to respond effectively to time sensitive demands & inquiries
· Proficiency using Microsoft office suite, and other relevant software
· Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills as well as exceptional customer relations
· Provides sound business judgment and contractual oversight
