Title: IT Infrastructure Supervisor
Department: IT
Supervisor: Senior Manager IT Operations and Infrastructure

Responsibilities:
Patch Deployment Management (Windows and Linux), administration of cloud (Azure and AWS) infrastructure and he should have some Oracle Database administration skills
Ensures the stability, integrity, and efficiency of the operations of in-house and DR information systems
contributes and executes the planning, design, implementation, and support of a variety of infrastructure-related projects and upgrades
Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving systems hardware, software, and firmware problems on all datacenter devices (including servers, racks, storage, virtualization, and backup system)
Perform Hyper-V and VMware administration, monitoring, and configuration
Perform Infrastructure, Systems and Software Capacity Analysis
Development and implementation of Test Strategies, Plans, Procedures, and Reports.
Datacenter Architecture and Design Analysis
Provide Technical assessment and Technical documentation of the all systems and configurations
Perform and manage the backup system and monitor the Jobs including restorations and data integrity testing
Develop, manage and test back-up and recovery plans.
Manage the backup media for both onsite and offsite jobs
Configure, manage and operate the cloud platforms (Azure and amazon AWS)
Insure that all systems, firmware are up to date and secure.
Maintain documentation of IT Infrastructure

Education:
University Degree or equivalent qualification
At least 5+ years hands-on experience in similar environments
Certification in HP, MS Hyper-V, and VMware will be an advantage

Knowledge & Experience:
· Experience in managing and installing HP servers, storage racks, and other data center equipment
Experience in Veritas backup systems (backup exec and NetBackup).
Experience in implementing and managing Hyper-V and VMware virtualization environments.

Location : Cairo – Egypt

Specific Accountabilities :

– Liaise with Worley Corporate to establish a project cost control and reporting methodology
– Develop, implement, and control the project accounting and job costing system to meet project requirements

Essential Skills/Experience
– Bachelor Engineering Degree, any discipline.
– 5 to 8 years total post-graduation experience in relevant field.
– 3 years’ experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry and projects cost control.
– Proven computer literacy skills with experience in cost and project control computer applications, ERP / SAP Systems, EcoSys, highly skilled in MS Excel.
– Proven ability to communicate effectively in English with others; (verbally, in written communications and in presentations / meetings).
– Ability to effectively and efficiently plan / prioritise all areas of responsibility such as: Budgets; Time management; Resources – training and succession planning.
