JOB DESCRIPTION
Conducting research about the job / product to assure the right way of assembly / disassembly and maintenance procedure to be able to conduct the right process of repair.
Key focuses within Operations are Safety, Cost Savings, On Time Delivery, Customer Satisfaction and Quality which leads to MFE focus on Machine Uptime.
Design for Assembly (DFA): Works with internal manufacturing organization to ensure time, complexity and cost are minimized for systems and sub-assemblies.
Operate / guide complex processing equipment or process on different machining machines.
Create Manufacturing plan for new components. Optimize manufacturing for existing components.
Performing computer simulations and experiments to virtually test and refine the designs.
Overseeing the development and manufacturing of physical prototypes for testing.
Collaborate with leadership to set and assess priorities across teams.
Resolve operations issues to ensure On Time Deliveries.
Produce drawings conforming to required Std as well as support design with standard hand calculations for fit, function, and structural strength.
Supports Business Development Mgr with technical questions around Quotes.
Comfortable with Metrics for continuous improvement, Lean best practice, Clear Documentation, Six Sigma data driven decision making and creative problem solving.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Production Engineering or equivalent from reputable universities.
5 to 7 years’ experience in a mechanical operation/maintenance/production/oil and gas.
Must have strong leadership and communication skills (both written and verbal).
Strong computer skills including MS Office (Word, Power point, Excel, Visio).
Proficient with CAD (SolidWorks).
Must have a working knowledge of Geometric Dimension and Tolerance.
Valves experience is advantage.
Hands-on experience with static and/or rotating equipment, and attended major overhauls will be advantage.
Capable of understanding a wide variety highly complex and technical design concepts.
