Senior Network & Security Engineer (ArcSight)
Implements the installation and configuration of network security architectures.
Provides remote and on-site support to our customers inside/outside Egypt.
Manages and monitors large computer networks for problems from a central location through communicating with site technicians and tracking problems until resolution.
Investigates and identifies the root cause of the incidents through analyzing problems, performing troubleshooting and tracking incident response on the system.
Tracks, documents and records precisely all technical issues and resolutions for future references.
Maintains LAN, WAN and architecture of the server as per the business policy.
Resolves the existing security issues including hardware malfunctions and track vulnerable scripts to avert the potential threats.
Generates and maintains the virtual private network, Firewall, web protocols
Carries out investigations of security breach alert and report findings of security analysis.
Monitors web security gateways, perimeter security, network access controls and end point security.
Manages communications with third party vendors, Customer contacts and other IT teams
Maintains routers and switches and generate statusreports of hardware and software products as per the designated policies
Prepares and submits weekly and monthly progress reports to the Networks team leader to clarify the current status and progress of assigned tasks
Escalates customer satisfaction problems and complex issued to
NetworkTeam Leader, Technical Project Services, if necessary.
Prepare, compile and review the projects’ technical documentation with the details of the installation work and submits to team leader.

Technical Skills
From 3 to 4 years of experience with:
Very good practical experience in Networks and communications.
• Experience in maintaining LAN, WAN and architecture of the network as per the business policy
• Worked with ArcSight; ESM, Loggers, Connectors (mainly), and other SIEM solutions; installation, configuration, commissioning, operating and troubleshooting
• Worked with F5, implementation and troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of Network Routing protocols like BGP, OSPF.
