Job Title: Odoo Functional Consultant

Reports To: ERP Project Manager / Implementation Lead

Job Purpose
To analyze business requirements, map them to Odoo functionality, provide solutions using Odoo modules, train users, and support the successful rollout of Odoo ERP projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze client requirements and translate them into functional solutions using Odoo.
• Configure Odoo modules (Sales, CRM, Accounting, Inventory, HR, Manufacturing, etc.) as per business needs.
• Conduct gap analysis between client needs and Odoo standard features.
• Provide user training and prepare user manuals or documentation.
• Perform system testing and support UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
• Support post-implementation activities and ongoing system enhancements.
• Collaborate with technical teams to develop custom modules or features when required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Odoo modules and workflows.
• Participate in project planning and status meetings.
• Train new clients
• Deliver technical support to address their inquiries and issue
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Functional Consultant working specifically with Odoo ERP
• Strong understanding of Odoo core modules and their business logic.
• Good knowledge of business processes (finance, supply chain, sales, HR, etc.).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to document processes and user stories effectively.
• Experience with project tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
• Odoo certification is a plus.
• Experience in Odoo.sh, Odoo community and Odoo Studio.
• Knowledge of Python or basic technical understanding of Odoo backend is advantageous.
• Experience with other ERPs (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) is an added advantage.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written) is required
