Sales Engineer – Industrial Air- Atlas Copco
Atlas Copco is Egypt is seeking for a dynamic proactive and competent sales engineer.
We are planning to develop our business through a well-executed development plan, by focused territory management and market coverage.
Reporting to the Industrial Air Regional Business Line Manager, your mission will be ensuring that the company goals are met in terms of sales volume, revenues, gross profit generation, market development and territory coverage.
Your main mission will be:-
Achieve or exceed assigned sales goals by developing action plans and schedules to identify specific sales- Actively use territory management tools to prospect, source and approach new customers in assigned area.
– Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.- Establish rapport and maintain regular contact with existing and new customers.- Respond promptly to customer inquiries.- Introduce new products and service upgrades.
– Study customer needs and coordinate customer service.
– Actively engage in planned prospecting activities- Obtain, develop, deliver, and present sales materials, exhibits, and promotional programs.
– Prepare and present quotes, proposals, pricing, credit terms and renewal, extension or alteration of service contracts to customers.
– Maintain a professional image at all times through personal actions and initiatives.Enhance division and company reputation and brand image by consistently working to implement the Company’s core values of commitment, interaction, and innovation.
– Update job knowledge for both products and sales/marketing strategies and skills by participating in educational opportunities;
– Prepare reports as assigned relative to activity, lost orders, closings, follow-up, and performance against budget.- promote focus products like Measurement box, VSD, Full Feature, Nitrogen generators and Oil free concept.-Coordinate with the Business Line Manager to define the transfer price levels and create price lists to be in line with the market prices and local GP targets.
-Interact with the aftermarket team to provide a good after sales service to reach the required customer satisfaction.
-Support sales through effective provision of sales data, including the visits recording, and action reports using the CTP (including lost reports)
-To meet the sales targets set by the divisional managers.-To provide timely and accurate sales and market information- Coordinate with sales manager to apply the right strategy to boost the division new products.
At least, 1-year experience in sales and marketing of high quality industrial machines.
– Mechanical/Electrical Engineering degree.- Knowledge of MS Office and Lotus Notes- Very good command of English written and spoken, knowledge of Arabic language is essential.
– Dynamic and self-motivated- Ambitious personality with excellent commercial, diplomatic and negotiating skills.- Ability to act independently within the set guidelines and policies.- Proven communication and relationship building skills- Ability to report both verbally and in writing, precisely and concisely.- Excellent communication and presentation skills- Ability to perform with good results while working under pressure.- Ability to analyze information draws conclusions, propose actions and identify market opportunities- Customer service orientation and ability
Atlas Copco Equipment Egypt is a customer center within the Atlas Copco Group, responsible for sales and service of compressors and generators, construction and mining equipment and tools and industrial & assembly systems covering Egypt , Jordan , Lebanon & Syria .
